It's been awhile since you've seen me on your friends page, right?

Well I've been insanely busy, and while I've had time to make stuff, I have not had time to take pictures of it OR update anything in a WHILE. Maybe I'll find more time tomorrow.

Anyway, I made a bag for myself this morning (I get to go to the Woodie Awards next week and I finally decided what I'm wearing and felt the need to make a matching bag, complete with buttons to support my favorite nominees) and I'm so in love with it that I needed to take pictures immediately.

And just for kicks, some pictures of a tiny monster that I made for a friend over the summer:

In other news, I'm not going to be accepting any more commissions for the summer. I'll be in NYC, interning at FUSE, and in an effort to be clean in the apartment I'm sharing, I am not taking all of the crap I own (including my missing appendage, my sewing machine.) So the only thing that will be new for a while is iPod cases (because knitting doesn't take up much space.)

I'm finally getting around to finishing various projects and taking pictures of things I finished a while ago.

I made me a new hoodie! Really I bought it, then modified it to make it more my style.

Hood-lining. The cuffs are the same fabric, and almost 4 inches long. I do love super long sleeves.

This next one requires kind of a lot of explanation. Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy has a hoodie he made that says on the front "Love Can't Save You" and on the back "Only my new powers can." My roommate/best friend and I were watching FOB on tv one night when he was wearing that hoodie. She saw the front and said, "What does the back say? Does it say 'unless it's gay love?'" Thus, her Christmas present was born. People who live with me end up with a lot of free BazWear swag.

I finally finished a big new batch of bags. Over winter break I made 14 new bags, and they should be up on the site by the weekend. This is my first week of classes (my last first week of classes ever) so I'm a bit busy, so please bear with me. Here's a preview of the new bags.

More stuff (and better quality pictures)

I made myself a hoodie vest. I am aware that I should not wear a pink vest with a red shirt, please note that I do not in fact do this on a regular basis. I do, however, wear various other blindingly clashing colors. Just not red and pink (unless it's Valentine's Day.)

A new bowling-ball style bag I made myself. It took an entire day, but in the end was worth it. It's a bit bigger than I was planning for, and I don't know what I'll do with another bag, but I'm in love with the fabric. Corduroy + stars + red/orange/yellow=perfection.

A teeny little bag I made to match my new vest (I had leftover lining fabric.) It's so tiny that it pretty much only fits my phone, chapstick and a little money but not my wallet. I don't know what I'll do with it, but I kind of love it.
